My little black dress needed its counterpart, a stone as mesmerizing that leaves one guessing. Carmen Electra’s engagement ring gave me a cue.
Enter the Black Diamond.
Ever since this jewel was stolen from the eye of the Hindu god Brahma in the early 19th century, the black diamond has become the fashionable way to make a statement. Birthed by graphite inclusions and other minerals, the black diamond is subtle, its opaque character ensuring it will never lose its luster.
A perfect match!
Wanting the highest quality and easy purchasing, I searched online for Le Poem’s hand-made designs. I debated between the Rayne ring, its geometric shape reminiscent of traditional Bedouin needlework; and the Noir ring, simply due to its romantic style. Ultimately, I chose the Noir for its fine details and unique cut, with the black diamond nestled at the center. Knowing the artist from a local boutique helped as well.
